Chris Pendleton Named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week

Chris Pendleton received a Big 12 honor for the second time this season when he was named Big 12 wrestler of the week for the week of Feb. 1.
The senior from Lemoore, Calif., received the first Big 12 honor of the season when he was named Big 12 Wrestler of the Month for November.
Pendleton had a sensational weekend defeating second-ranked Ben Askren, recording a fall and a tech. fall.
Pendleton defeated Askren 4-3 to hand the Missouri sophomore his first loss of the season. He pinned Oregon State's Jeremy Larson in 2:16, and racked up a ton of points against Oregon's Chet McBee to earn a tech. fall with a 29-14 victory.
Pendleton and the Cowboys have a busy weekend ahead wrestling at Nebraska tomorrow night before travelling to Hofstra and Lehigh on Sunday.
