Cowgirls Compete at Meyo Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Oklahoma State's Barbora Kuncova led the Cowgirl track team at the Meyo Invitational, on Saturday in South Bend, Ind.

Kuncova, a junior from Doubravice, Czech Republic, finished eighth in the 3,000-meter run, with a time of 9:32.64. Junior Michelle Prowse and freshman Mary Davies finished 12th and 13th, respectively.

In 3,000-meter event, Kuncova and Prowse both received NCAA provisional qualifying marks.

Alison Erzinger, a junior from Houston, Texas, ran with a time of 55:37 in the 400-meter dash to finish fifth.

Cowgirl senior Joanna Fedick finished 15^th in mile run with a time of 5:00.52.

The Cowgirls will continue indoor action next weekend at the Tyson Foods Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. The two-day event begins on Friday, February 11.
