Sarac Impresses in Cowgirl Debut

NORMAN, Okla. Â– Oklahoma State's Tihana Sarac competed in her first meet of her collegiate career Friday, finishing second in the pentathlon at the J.D. Martin Invitational in Norman, Okla.

Sarac, a freshman from Kutina, Croatia, set a new school and Croatian record in the event by scoring over 3,400 points.

“That was a great score for her first ever pentathlon,” head coach Rene Sepulveda said.

The competition will continue Saturday with the field events starting at 10 a.m.
