Cowgirls DMR Finishes Fourth

The Cowgirl DMR team was led behind senior Valentina Medina (Mile leg), junior Michelle Prowse (800-meter leg), junior Alison Erzinger (400-meter leg) and junior Barbora Kuncova (1,200-meter leg). The foursome finished with a time of 11:34.56.
“We improved in the DMR by nearly thirty seconds,” head coach Rene Sepulveda said. “With the girls improving and the times dropping, it should give us momentum going into the Big 12 championships.”
Freshman Mary Davies had a first-place finish in the 5,000-meter run, with a time of 16:34.29. Davies' time also set an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
