Cowboy Baseball Sweeps Binghamton With 11-3 Win

OSU swept the three-game series and improved to 7-3 on the year, while BU fell to 0-3.
Daniels struck out nine and allowed three runs on seven hits in five innings to improve to 2-1 on the year. pitched the final four innings, allowing just one hit, while striking out three to pick up the save.
Catcher went 3-for-3 with a homer, double and four RBIs to lead the Cowboy offensive attack, while leftfielder Ty Wright and second baseman chipped in with two hits each.
The Cowboys scored two runs in the second with the big hit coming via a RBI single from .
In the top of the fourth, BU scored off a RBI double from Justin Smucker to cut the lead to 2-1
The Pokes plated four runs in the bottom of the inning to extend the lead to 6-1. had a RBI double with , Parrish, and Wright all adding RBI singles to lead the way.
Justin Smucker's second RBI double of the day made the score 6-2 in the fifth. The Bearcats started the sixth inning with back to back singles and managed to score one run off Jamie Boyer's RBI single up the middle.
Freshman contributed a run in the seventh on a RBI single, and the Cowboys put the game away with back to back home runs from Jeff Parrish and Ty Wright in the eighth to push the lead to 11-3.
Junior Jarrod Rampey (0-1) lasted until the fourth inning, allowing four runs on six hits with six walks. Senior Mike Weglinski pitched four innings in relief and gave up three runs off of five hits for the Bearcats.
