Cowgirl Soccer Opens Spring Season With Two Wins

Oklahoma State's women's soccer team opened the spring season with a 2-0 showing on Saturday at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex. The Cowgirls defeated Challenge ‘88 3-0 and the Oklahoma ‘89 ODP squad 6-0.
Sasa Jackson earned the game-winner against Challenge. Niccole Grimaldi and Adriane Radtke tallied the remaining goals.
The Cowgirls exploded for six goals against the ODP team as newcomer Jessica Rosholt scored the first two of the game.
Katie Lacey and Candice Byler increased OSU's advantage to 4-0. Radtke then closed out the scoring with a pair of goals in the second half.
Jeanne Rankin and Breanna Truelove split time in the first game, each playing one-half of the 80-minute contest.
Erin Stigler, a redshirt during the fall season, played both 30-minute halves in the second game.
Oklahoma State returns to action next Saturday, Feb. 26, when it travels to Austin, Texas.
