Cowboy Golf Extends Lead At Waikoloa Intercollegiate

The third-ranked Cowboys, who entered the day with a one-stroke lead on Southern California, will begin tomorrow's final round with a 36-hole total of 534, 42 under par, and eight shots clear of Washington, which moved into second place after matching OSU for the low score of the day.
The Cowboys are well represented on the individual leaderboard as the top three spots are all occupied by OSU players.
Sophomore Tyler Leon gained sole possession of the top spot after carding a 66 to move to 14 under with a two-day total of 130. Redshirt sophomore Ryan Posey will begin his final round one shot off the lead after following up his first-round 65 with a 66 of his own.
Senior Alex Norén carded the low round of the day with a 7-under 65 to stand alone in third place with a 12-under 132 total.
Freshman Pablo Martin slipped into a five-way tie for 49th place after carding a 1-over 73 for a 36-hole score of 141, while sophomore Zac Reynolds rounded out the lineup with a 75 to dip into a tie for 89th with a two-over 146 total.
The Cowboys will conclude play at the 6,814-yard, par-72 Waikoloa Village Golf Club tomorrow morning.
