Cowboys Go Separate Ways for Weekend Meets

On Saturday, Freshman Ryan Vail will lead the Cowboys in the the Husky Classic hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle. Juniors Sean McCabe and Justin Nobles are the only two upperclassmen attending the event for the Cowboys. Other runners include sophomores David Pomies, David Foster, Chris Stoves, Joe Gray, and Brian Ehlis, as well as freshmen Brian Gosnell and Alejandro Ruiz.
Following that meet on Saturday, Vial will travel to Vancouver, Wash. to compete for a spot on the USA Junior Cross Country team on Sunday.
Meanwhile for the Pokes, senior J.R. Lake will lead four Cowboy runners at the Tyson Foods invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday. Junior Luke Sigle, sophomore Terry Josserand, and freshman Chris Lewis will also be competing in that meet.
All action will begin on Saturday with the Tyson Foods Invitational kicking off at 11 a.m. and the Husky Classic starting at 11 a.m. (PST).
