Oklahoma State Cowboys in the NFL - Week 13

Darrent Williams highlighted the list of former Oklahoma State Cowboys playing in the NFL during Week 13 action. The Denver Broncos' rookie cornerback had six tackles, all solo stops, an interception which he returned 28 yards and a pair of pass breakups. He also totaled 87 yards on four kickoff returns and gained one yard on his lone punt return.
Despite Williams' efforts, Denver dropped a 31-27 decision at Kansas. Even so, the Broncos are still atop the AFC West standings at 9-3.
Williams has started nine games for Denver and has racked up 59 tackles, two interceptions  one that he returned 80 yards for a touchdown  13 pass breakups, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
As a kick returner, Williams is averaging 24.2 yards on 17 kickoff returns and 8.7 yards on 17 punt returns.
Billy Bajema, TE - San Francisco Bajema played but did not record any stats in the 49ers' loss to Arizona. The rookie has started five games at tight end and has five catches for 54 yards.
Tatum Bell, RB - Denver Bell returned from an injury and came off the bench to lead the Broncos in rushing against Kansas City with 46 yards on just five carries. He also had one catch for one yard. The second-year tailback is the Broncos' second-leading rusher with 686 yards on 111 carries to go along with five rushing touchdowns.
Keith Burns, LB - Denver Burns, a 12-year NFL veteran and special teams standout, sat out the game in Kansas City with a knee injury. In the Thanksgiving game against Dallas, Burns suffered a second-degree tear of the medial cruciate ligament and stretching of the posterior cruciate ligament. He did not practice last week and swelling in the knee kept him out of game action, but he is hoping to return this week against Baltimore. The Broncos' special teams captain has a team-high 14 special teams tackles on the season and has also recorded a tackle playing linebacker. Burns has racked up over 200 special teams stops in his career.
R.W. McQuarters, CB - Detroit McQuarters recorded six tackles from his cornerback spot in the Lions' 21-16 loss to Minnesota. In his eighth NFL season, McQuarters has 39 tackles and is tied for second on the Lions with a pair of interceptions. He has also averaged 21.5 yards on eight kickoff returns and 14.9 yards on seven punt returns.
Vernand Morency, RB - Houston A rookie tailback, Morency played in a 16-15 loss to Baltimore but did not record any stats. In eight games, Morency has 57 rushing yards on 16 carries and has four catches for 18 yards. He has also been used as a kickoff returner and is averaging 21.9 yards on 20 kick returns.
Greg Richmond, LB - Philadelphia After spending last season on the Eagles' practice squad, Richmond is on the team's physically unable to perform list after having surgery in August to repair a herniated disc in his lower back.
Marcellus Rivers, TE - Houston A fifth-year pro, Rivers had one catch for 10 yards in the Texans' loss to Baltimore. After spending his first four NFL seasons with the New York Giants, Rivers has started two games for the Texans this season and has eight catches for 68 yards.
Antonio Smith, DE - Arizona A defensive end for the Cardinals, Smith started his fourth-straight game but did not record any stats in a win over San Francisco. He has eight tackles in nine games this season. A fifth-round pick in 2004, Smith spent the first 13 games of his rookie season on the practice squad before playing in two of Arizona's final three games and then playing in NFL Europe for Hamburg.
Juqua Thomas, DE - Philadelphia A fifth-year pro in his first season with the Eagles, Thomas and Philly host Seattle tonight. Thomas has seven tackles and a fumble recovery in eight games with the Eagles this season.
Jamal Williams, DT - San Diego Williams, a starter on the Chargers' defensive line, recorded three tackles in a win against Oakland. In his eighth NFL season, Williams has 32 tackles and a fumble recovery. San Diego, which has won five-straight games, is 8-4 and tied for second in the AFC West standings.
Kevin Williams, DT - Minnesota Williams missed the first game of his three-year NFL career as a sprained knee kept him out of action in the Vikings' win over Detroit. He had started 43-straight games. Williams, who is expected to miss several weeks of action, has 26 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in 2005.
Rashaun Woods, WR - San Francisco Woods is on the 49ers' injured reserve list and will not play in his second NFL season.
Kenyatta Wright, LB - New York Jets Wright, who is listed as the third-string middle linebacker on the Jets' depth chart, saw action against New England but did not record any stats. In his fifth NFL season, Wright has five tackles. He has 59 special teams tackles in his three seasons with the Jets, good for sixth on the club's all-time list.
