In the long jump, Siksnelyte qualified and participated at the 2003 World University Games.
At the 2004 Lithuanian Championships, Siksnelyte finished second in the triple jump with a personal best mark of 12.5-meters (41'0.25”).
Siksnelyte will be instructed by OSU jumping coach, Zivile Pukstiene, as the two have met before when they competed against each other in 2002 and 2003.
“Zivile (Siksnelyte) has European and World Championship experience, which will help her adjust to the Big 12 level of competition in the long jump,” Cowgirl head coach Rene Sepulveda said. “Generally, if you score in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships, you will be an NCAA National Qualifier.”
Siksnelyte will begin competing with the Cowgirls starting in January.
