Oklahoma State Cowboys in the NFL - Week 12

For the second week in a row, Jamal Williams highlighted the list of former Oklahoma State Cowboys playing in the NFL. During Week 12 action, the San Diego Chargers' defensive tackle had five tackles, all solo stops, in his squad's 23-17 overtime win over Washington. Williams and the San Diego defense allowed just 282 total yards of offense in the win. Williams, who is in his eighth NFL season, has 29 tackles and a fumble recovery in 2005. He has started all 11 games for a San Diego squad that is 7-4 and tied for second in the AFC West standings.
Billy Bajema, TE - San Francisco Bajema had one catch for 20 yards in the 49ers' loss to Tennessee. The rookie has started five games at tight end and has five catches for 54 yards.
Tatum Bell, RB - Denver The second-year tailback was injured (bruised chest) and did not play in Denver's Thanksgiving Day overtime win over Dallas. He is expected to return to action this week. For the season, Bell is the Broncos' second-leading rusher with 640 yards on 106 carries to go along with five rushing touchdowns. Denver is 9-2 and atop the AFC West standings.
Keith Burns, LB - Denver Burns, a 12-year NFL veteran and special teams standout, had one special teams tackle against Dallas. However, Burns was forced to leave the game early with a knee injury. The Broncos' special teams captain has a team-high 11 special teams tackles on the season and has also recorded a tackle playing linebacker. Burns has racked up over 200 special teams stops in his career.
R.W. McQuarters, CB - Detroit McQuarters recorded two tackles from his cornerback spot in the Lions' 27-7 loss to Atlanta. In his eighth NFL season, McQuarters has 33 tackles and is tied for second on the Lions with a pair of interceptions.
Vernand Morency, RB - Houston A rookie tailback, Morency played against St. Louis but did not record any stats. In eight games, Morency has 57 rushing yards on 16 carries and has four catches for 18 yards. He has also been used as a kickoff returner and is averaging 21.9 yards on 20 kick returns.
Greg Richmond, LB - Philadelphia After spending last season on the Eagles' practice squad, Richmond is on the team's physically unable to perform list after having surgery in August to repair a herniated disc in his lower back.
Marcellus Rivers, TE - Houston A fifth-year pro, Rivers had one catch for 13 yards and also recorded two tackles on special teams in the Texans' overtime loss to St. Louis. After spending his first four NFL seasons with the New York Giants, Rivers has started two games for the Texans this season and has seven catches for 58 yards.
Antonio Smith, DE - Arizona A defensive end for the Cardinals, Smith started his third-straight game and had one tackle in Arizona's 38-28 loss to Jacksonville. He has eight tackles in eight games this season. A fifth-round pick in 2004, Smith spent the first 13 games of his rookie season on the practice squad before playing in two of Arizona's final three games and then playing in NFL Europe for Hamburg.
Juqua Thomas, DE - Philadelphia A fifth-year pro in his first season with the Eagles, Thomas had one tackle in Philly's 19-14 win over Green Bay. Thomas has seven tackles and a fumble recovery in eight games with the Eagles this season.
Darrent Williams, CB - Denver The Broncos' rookie cornerback had three tackles in the overtime win at Dallas. He also returned a kickoff for 27 yards and a punt for eight yards. Williams has started 11 games for Denver and has racked up 48 tackles, an interception  which he returned 80 yards for a touchdown  13 pass breakups, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. As a kick returner, Williams is averaging 25 yards on 13 kickoff returns and 9.3 yards on 15 punt returns.
Kevin Williams, DT - Minnesota Williams started the 43rd-straight game of his three-year career but did not record any stats in the Vikings' 24-12 win over Cleveland, After starting in the Pro Bowl in 2004, his second pro season, Williams has 26 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in 2005.
Rashaun Woods, WR - San Francisco Woods is on the 49ers' injured reserve list and will not play in his second NFL season.
Kenyatta Wright, LB - New York Jets Wright, who is listed as the third-string middle linebacker on the Jets' depth chart, did not had one special teams tackle against New Orleans. In his fifth NFL season, Wright has five tackles. He has 59 special teams tackles in his three seasons with the Jets, good for sixth on the club's all-time list.
