Pablo Martin in the hunt at All-America Golf Classic

The Malaga, Spain native carded an opening round of 68 before a 4-under 67 during the afternoon to get to his 7-under total at the par-71, 6,817-yard layout. He will enter play tomorrow three shots off the pace of tournament leader Luke List of Vanderbilt, who carded rounds of 67 and 65 on the day to come in at 132. Georgia's Chris Kirk followed up a 71 with a tournament-low 63 to finish the day at 134.
Fellow Cowboy Tyler Leon will enter play tomorrow tied for 16th place. The Dallas, Texas native carded rounds of 70 and 71 to end the day at 141.
The tournament, which boasts past champions such as David Duval, Davis Love III and Tiger Woods, is in its 31st year of existence. Each university is awarded a $1,000 scholarship if a golfer from that school competes in the tournament.
