Cowgirls Claim First at Regional Championships

By finishing strong the Cowgirls also had six all-region runners, which include seniors Valentina Medina and Barbora Kuncova, junior Eva Slavikova, sophomore Mary Davies and freshmen Nina Andersson and Anissa Angelosante.
“We didn't put any pressure on the girls, as they ran really relaxed,” said Sepulveda. “The girls ran solid and moved up during the race as every girl kept passing other runners.”

Without the competition from sophomore Eva Tomankova, Angelosante and senior Michelle Prowse gave OSU added support by finishing 22nd and 26th. Prowse was one place from earning all-region.
“Eva has been our No. 4 runner this season. She has fully recovered from a cold the week of Big 12's and I believe she will be back strong at NCAAs.”
OSU will return to action, Nov. 21, when they travel to the NCAA Cross Country Championships in
