“Military Appreciation Day”

STILLWATER, Okla. (11/7/05) Â– Oklahoma State Athletics is inviting all military personnel to attend their upcoming football game, November 12, against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. As part of the “Military Appreciation Day” promotion, all military personnel (active duty, retired, or veteran) that present a valid military identification card may purchase tickets for themselves as well as family members at a discounted rate of only $25 per ticket.

Kickoff for this game is set for 1 PM inside Boone Pickens Stadium. However, fans are encouraged to attend “The Walk” at 10:45 AM as the Cowboy Football Team and Coach Gundy make their way up Hester Street from the Atherton Hotel to Boone Pickens Stadium.

As part of the festivities the OSU Marching Band will be performing their “Armed Forces Salute" show at halftime.

Tickets for this special game are currently available, and can be purchased at the Oklahoma State Athletic Ticket Office (open Monday-Friday from 8 am Â– 5 pm) or by calling 877-ALL-4-OSU.
