2004-05 The freshman sensation was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Year ... named to the All-Big 12 Conference Team, after her performance at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships ... was named Big 12 Runner of the Week once, the week of Oct. 12 ... was a qualifier for the World Junior Cross Country Championships ... finished second at the Hurricane Festival, leading the Cowgirls to the team title at the meet ... had a first-place performance at the Wildcat Invitational 6k run, finishing with a time of 21:13 ... finished first at the Triton Classic in San Diego, Calif., ... ran to a fifth-place finish at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships ... had a season best 6k run at the Midwest District V Championships, finishing 3rd with a time of 20:34 ... was the lone Cowgirl to compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championship in Terre Haute, Ind., where she finished 48th, amongst the 250 competitors ... earned All-American honors in the 10,000-meter run during the 2005 outdoor track season ... she then earned the bronze medal in the 10,000-meter run at the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey in August 2005.
