2005: Blackmon went 14-10 wrestling in open tournaments during his redshirt season ... started the season with three consecutive falls, including a 13 second pin in his first match ... recorded eight falls in his 14 victories.

High School: Bryant was a two-time state finalist in Tennessee ... he was runner-up in 2003 and took the title as a senior in 2004 ... he also lettered two years as a catcher on the baseball team.

Personal: Bryant is the son of Chuck and Cindy ... he was born Sept. 16, 1985 ... has a brother Rusty (23), who is currently a junior on the team ... also has a cousin who wrestles for Tennessee-Chattanooga ... enjoys fishing, working out and spending time with his friends during his spare time ... is currently enrolled in the business college, but is undecided on a major.
