2004: Was the Cowboys season opening starter, moved into the bullpen for the middle of the year and transitioned back into the starting rotation by the end of the year ... finished the year with a 3-3 record and 4.66 ERA ... struck out 58 batters in 65.2 innings in 19 appearances ... was 2-1 with a 3.38 ERA in 10 appearances in Big 12 play ... made 11 relief appearances and eight starts ... gave up three earned runs on seven hits in three innings in a start against UCF (6/5) in the NCAA tournament ... started the semifinal contest against Texas in the Big 12 Tournament and allowed just two runs on seven hits in eight and a third innings of work to pick up his third win of the season ... gave up two unearned runs on three hits in 1.2 innings of relief against Nebraska (5/8) ... picked up both wins in the Bedlam series ... did not allow an earned run in 8.2 innings of relief with nine strikeouts and four walks against the Sooners ... pitched 4.1 innings of scoreless relief in the 8-5 win in the first game against OU (4/29) ... allowed two unearned runs on three hits with five strikeouts in 4.1 innings of relief against OU in the second game of the series ... pitched four innings of one-hit baseball, while striking out four and recording a save in two appearances against Kansas State ... pitched a career high 10 innings in relief against Kansas (4/18) ... gave up one run on eight hits, while fanning eight hitters ... faced two batters and struck them both out against Texas-Arlington (4/13) ... recorded two outs in relief against Texas (3/28) ... pitched two perfect innings of relief against Louisiana Tech (3/12) ... got the opening day nod against Eastern Michigan (2/13) allowing two runs on three hits in five innings of work.
2002-03: Played one season at Bossier Parish Community College (2003) and one at Missouri Valley College (2002) ... went 6-2 for BPCC ... participated in summer league baseball with the Liberal Blue Jays in 2002, and helped lead the team to a seventh place showing at the NBC ... went 1-1 for the Natchitoches Braves in 2003 ... also considered Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Monroe.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Aldergrove Secondary School in British Columbia ... school did not have a baseball team.
PERSONAL: Undecided on a major, possibly education or economics ... son of Linda and Kelly Kaye and Dr. Bob Richmond ...born August 30, 1979 ... has three brothers, Stirling, George and Brandon and one sister, Barbara ... chose Oklahoma State because of the tradition in baseball and to have a chance to pitch in the Big 12.
