Erzinger's Two Titles Leads Cowgirls

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Oklahoma State women's track and field team were led by distance runners Alison Erzinger and Mary Davies as the Cowgirls competed at the University of New Mexico All-Comers Meet in Albuquerque, N.M., on Saturday.

Davies, a freshman from Whangaei, New Zealand, ran her way to a first-place finish in the 3,000-meter competitions, with a time of 9:44.38(A).

The Cowgirls received their best performance from Erzinger as she captured two titles at the events. The Cowgirl junior won the 400-meter with a time of 55.55, and then won the 200-meter with a time of 24.91.

Up next for the Cowgirls, they will travel the whole team to Lincoln, Neb., to compete at the adidas Classic on Jan. 22.
