Big 12 Conference Announces Championship Game Ticket Sales

Tickets for the 2004 Big 12 Championship Football Game will go on sale to the general public beginning on Monday, September 20 at 10 a.m., the Big 12 Conference has announced.
This year, the Championship Game will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 4 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Tickets to the ninth-annual Big 12 Championship game can be purchased by either of the following three options:

- At any Ticketmaster outlet in your area.
The game will feature the winner of the Big 12's North and South divisions. Kickoff is 7 p.m. (CST) and will again be televised nationally by ABC Sports. The winner of the contest receives the right to represent the conference in the Bowl Championship Series.
Arrowhead Stadium will be the initial facility to host three of the first nine Big 12 league football crown matches. Last season's title bout also marked the first time that the same contestants Kansas State and Oklahoma have met in the same championship locale-Arrowhead Stadium-in 2000 and 2003. OU won the first meeting 27-24 en route to a national championship, while KSU evened the score with a 35-7 upset of the then-top-ranked Sooners last year.
