Soccer Prepares For Second Week On The Road

Oklahoma State's soccer team heads east for the second week to take on William & Mary and Lehigh. The Cowgirls face William & Mary at 6 p.m. (CDT) on Friday and Lehigh at 10 a.m. (CDT) on Sunday.
William & Mary is 0-1-1 on the year. The Tribe opened the season with a 3-2 loss to Loyola and followed with a 1-1 draw with Maryland. Lehigh is 1-1 thus far after a 1-0 setback against Temple and a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac.
In their eight-year history the Cowgirls have not played either team.
The Cowgirls opened the season by winning the Banknorth Classic, defeating Vermont 2-1 and New Hampshire 3-1. Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, Candice Byler, scored two goals for the Cowgirls, including the game-winner against the Catamounts. Senior Nikki Wojtowicz had an assist in both games.
