Cowboys Complete First Week Of Fall Camp
August 15, 2004 | Cowboy Football
The Cowboys went through a two hour workout on the artificial turf in shoulder pads only. Head coach Les Miles is pleased with his team's progress thus far and is eager to see what lies ahead for the squad.
“This week has gone really well and we are just where we need to be,” stated Miles. “Offensively we are doing some things that we have not be able to do this early in camp before. The defense looks very strong and is coming together nicely. We are attempting to find a kicker and like last year we will be a great punting and returning team. My only concern is the conditioning, if it is not 100 degrees I am not happy.”
Oklahoma State returns to full pads and two-a-day practices on Monday. The Cowboys take the field for workouts at 8:10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
