2003: Jones played in all 13 games and finished with 13 carries for 68 yards. His top game came against Texas when he carried the ball seven times for 36 yards. He also rushed four times for 30 yards against ULL and two times for two yards against Kansas.
2002: Jones played in seven games and finished the year with 96 yards on 23 carries. He had 10 carries for 34 yards against Baylor. In the last two games, Jones carried the ball 10 times and gained 54 yards. He had five yards on two carries against Texas Tech and 49 yards on eight carries against Kansas. His longest run was 14 yards against the Jayhawks. He had two carries for four yards against Texas A&M and carried one time for four yards against Nebraska.
2001: Greg saw action in three games and finished with nine carries for 26 yards. His longest run from scrimmage was 16 yards against Texas on Lewis Field.
High School: Jones was a jack-of-all-trades for Newman Smith High School, as he played quarterback, wide receiver, running back and cornerback as a senior. At running back, he ran for 970 yards and nine touchdowns. At receiver, he caught 20 passes for 220 yards. At quarterback, he completed both of his pass attempts for 50 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two interceptions on defense. Tulsa and Marshall also recruited Jones.
Personal: Born Dec. 27, 1982, in Lafayette, La., Greg is majoring in education at Oklahoma State.
