Allen came out of spring drills listed as the backup at a wide receiver spot. He will almost certainly compete for playing time in 2004. Allen is a gifted receiver with good size and great speed.

2003: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.

High School: Allen was a first-team All-State selection in Colorado who was also recruited by Colorado, Arizona State, Wyoming and New Mexico. He caught 60 passes for 1,019 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior, and followed that with 971 yards as a senior.

Personal: Born Nov. 6, 1984, Allen is the son of Frank Allen and Patti Kryzmanski. He has an older brother, Jamal, and a younger sister, Jaryl. Allen is undecided on his OSU major, and lists bowling and fishing as his main hobbies.
