Efe Mowarin

Mowarin was a junior college transfer from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M who made an early and significant impact on the Oklahoma State defense last season. He was somewhat hampered in the spring by injury, but should emerge this fall as one of the anchors of the Oklahoma State defensive line. He has the size, strength and quickness to be a dominating factor on the defensive side.

2003: Mowarin started the final three games of the regular season and played in 11 of OSU’s 12 regular season games plus the Cotton Bowl against Ole Miss. He finished with 18 total tackles, including three for minus six yards.

at NEO: Mowarin was a big part of NEO’s football success his sophomore season. He was named honorable mention all-conference and was a two-year starter for the Golden Norse.

High School: Efe played for Memorial High School in Tulsa, where he was named All-State by both the Tulsa World and Oklahoma Coaches’ Association. He was listed as an all-metro player, and ranked as a top-20 prospect in Oklahoma by First Down Publications.

Personal: Born Nov. 25, 1981, Efe is the son of Walter Mowarin and Julieatt Littlejohn. He has a brother, Terrel, and a sister, G.T. Efe is majoring in education at Oklahoma State
