Doug Bond

Bond came out of the spring listed as the backup at left guard and is expected to make a significant contribution along the offensive front in 2004. He is one of several talented players returning to the offensive front for coach Chuck Moller in 2004. He's got the size and strength and should continue to improve as his Cowboy career progresses.

2003: Bond saw action as a reserve lineman in a limited role last year. He saw game action in OSU's win over Kansas at Boone Pickens Stadium.

2002: Bond's redshirt season at Oklahoma State.

High School: Doug came out of high school listed as a top-100 area recruit by the Dallas Morning News. He was also recruited by Kansas, LSU and SMU.

Personal: Born April 1, 1984, in New Bern, N.C., Doug is the son of Albert and Phyllis Bond. His sister, Ursula Bond, plays volleyball and basketball in middle school. Doug lists football as his primary hobby, and is majoring in sociology at Oklahoma State.
