2003: Coe started in all 13 games and contributed 34 tackles, including two for loss and a quarterback sack.
2002: Coe played in 10 games during the regular season, tallying 17 tackles, 12 solo and five assisted. He added three assisted tackles in the bowl game in Houston. He grabbed two tackles against Nebraska, and notched four against Kansas State, including three solo and half a tackle for a one-yard loss. He recorded two tackles in the game against SMU and three against Texas. He also had four tackles against UCLA, three of which were solo. He recorded two assisted tackles in the season opener against Louisiana Tech.
2001: Clay played in all 11 games and finished with 14 total tackles. He had one tackle for minus-10 yards, that coming in the 16-13 win over Oklahoma in Norman. 2000: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.
High School: One of the top prospects in Oklahoma and a major part of Deer Creek's success his senior season, Coe played both ways for coach Ron Smith and helped his team to a 12-1 record, the best season in Deer Creek history. Coe earned All-State honors by both the Daily Oklahoman and the Oklahoma Coaches' Association, and was also named the Daily Oklahoman Little All-City Defensive Player of the Year. Coe was an Oklahoma top-20 prospect according to First Down Recruiting. He finished with 101 tackles and 14 sacks as a senior, and for his career, he had 274 tackles and 22 sacks. Oklahoma, TCU and Tulsa were among the other schools that recruited Coe.
Personal: Born March 11, 1982, Clay is the son of Ward and Marci Coe. He is majoring in marketing at Oklahoma State.
