Cowgirls Add Experienced Runner

Oklahoma State's women's track and field team signed Jennifer Edwards to a National Letter of Intent, it was announced earlier this week. The Arkansas Tech University transfer will have three years of eligibility in cross country and four years of eligibility in track and field.
The Roland, Okla. native finished in 12th place in the 2003 NCAA Regional with a time of 22:31 while at Arkansas Tech. Edwards also finished in 10th place at the Gulf South Conference Cross Country Champions with a time of 18:54.
“We are very excited to have an experienced transfer for the upcoming cross country season,” said head Coach Rene Sepulveda. “She will be added depth to the cross country team and will also focus on the 10,000 and 5000 meter runs in track.”
