Oklahoma State's men's golf team will look to earn its 10th NCAA title this week when it travels to the par-70, 6,679-yard Cascades Course at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va. The Cowboys, the Central Region runner-up, and the rest of the 30-team field will get underway on Tuesday with the first of four rounds.
OSU AT THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
Oklahoma State has qualified for the NCAA Championship in each of the 58 years of the program's existence, winning nine national titles, posting 15 runner-up finishes and finishing lower than fifth just 11 times. OSU's last team title came in 2000 at the Grand National Golf Club at Opelika, Ala. The event also produced the latest of the Cowboys' seven individual medalists in Charles Howell. Last season, OSU finished second on its home course to Clemson, which posted a 1,191 total, 39-over, to finish two shots clear of the Cowboys.
