Tech captured the series and improved to 34-17 overall and 14-9 in Big 12 play while Oklahoma State fell to 32-18 on the season and 15-8 in league play.
OSU took a 7-2 lead into the ninth behind a strong pitching performance by Scott Richmond. He had allowed two runs on two hits through eight innings before Tech scored four runs on him in the stanza via homers by Cameron Blair and Josh Haney.

Rew dropped to 5-7 on the year, while Corey Gerstner pitched two innings of relief to improve to 7-1.
