Three Cowgirls Qualify for NCAA Regional

Oklahoma State's Valentina Medina and Michelle Prowse qualified for the NCAA regional in the 1,500 meter run this weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif.
Medina finished the race with a time of 4:26.43, while Prowse came in just behind with a time of 4:26:48.
Sophomore Delisa McClain took first place in the hammer throw with a distance of 54.41 meters at the Kansas Relays this weekend in Lawrence, Kan.
Halee Prickett placed first among the collegiate athletes, third overall, in the shot put with a distance of 14.90 meters. Prickett suffered a sprained ankle between the preliminary and final rounds.
Paula Ogunbanjo placed sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.31 meters, which also qualifies her for an NCAA regional provisional.
The Cowgirls will return to action on April 24 when they head to Tulsa for the Hurricane Invitational.
