Cowboy Baseball Falls To Arkansas 5-2

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Â Haas Pratt and Scott Bridges had back to back RBI hits to break open a 2-2 ballgame as Arkansas went on to defeat Oklahoma State 5-2 in baseball action Tuesday night at Baum Stadium.
Clay Goodwin led off the eighth with a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt. Pratt and Bridges followed with a RBI single and RBI double to take a 4-2 lead. Bridges would then steal third and advance home on the errant throw by Jason Jaramillo to extend the advantage to 5-2.
The Cowboys got on the board in the first on a solo homer by designated hitter Ty Wright. The
OSU took the lead in the fifth on a RBI single by Chris Gutierrez. The had an opportunity to extend the lead in the seventh with runners at first and third and no outs, but could not convert as Wright popped up to short and Josh Fields grounded into a double play.
The Razorbacks tied the game in the bottom of the seventh on a RBI single by Jake Dugger off of reliever Tommy Keefer (0-1). Keefer, who was making his second outing of the year, allowed four runs on five hits in 2.1 innings of action.
