Oklahoma State's women's soccer team closed out the spring season against the Brazilian National Team, falling, 4-1, on Thursday night at the Harold Patterson Complex. Brazil is ranked sixth in the world according to the most recent FIFA World Rankings.
The Cowgirls trailed 3-1 at half after Adriane Radtke found the back of the net off a Marcela Nova free kick. Brazil added one goal in the second period.
Erin Corbin went the distance in goal for Oklahoma State.
“We left the field knowing we played against one of the best teams in the world,” stated head coach Karen Hancock. “We did some good things, played some spurts of good soccer. It was an unbelievable experience and a great confidence builder for our team.”
