Cowboy Baseball Defeats Baylor 11-5

The second game of the doubleheader was cancelled due to wet field conditions.
Grogan improved to 8-1 on the year and 3-0 in Big 12 play, while Jared Theodorakos fell to 3-1.
After Baylor scored a run in the bottom of the first, the Cowboys scored three runs in the top of the second to take a 3-1 lead.
OSU broke open the game with four runs in the fourth and three runs in the fifth to stake Grogan to a 10-1 lead. Rod Allen had a RBI double and Rusty Ryal a two-run double in the fourth, while Chris Gutierrez had two-run double and Keanon Simon had a RBI single to account for the runs in the fifth.
The Bears added another run in the sixth, but could not convert a bases loaded opportunity as Grogan struck out Paul Witt to end the inning. Reid Brees added a RBI double in the seventh to make the score 10-3.
The Pokes added a run in the ninth on a sacrifice fly by Scott Kirby, while Kyle Reynolds had a RBI single and Josh Ford had a RBI triple to close out the scoring.
The Cowboys will be back in action on Tuesday against Texas-Arlington in
