Cowgirls Have Record Setting Day

Oklahoma State's track and field team had a record breaking performance at the UTA Invitational on Saturday in Arlington, Texas. Senior Halee Prickett set a school record in the shot put with a distance of 15.09 meter, also good enough for an NCAA Regional Provisional. Prickett also set the school record in the discus with a distance of 46.12 meters. Freshman April Hart had a strong showing in the javelin with a throw of 34'70”. The Cowgirls will return to action when they head to Austin, Texas for the Texas Relays beginning on April 1.
