Cowboy Golf In 11th Place At Hall of Fame Invitational

The Cowboys will enter tomorrow's second round just six strokes out of second place and 12 shots off the lead held by Arizona.
Individually, junior Alex Norén led the way for OSU, coming in as the only Cowboy under par with a one-under 71 to end play tied for 16th place. The Stockholm, Sweden is five shots off the pace of Arizona's Chris Nallen for the individual lead.
Freshman Casey Wittenberg came in one stroke behind Norén and will enter play Saturday in a nine-way deadlock for the 27th position after an even-par 72.
Three Cowboys, freshmen Tyler Leon and Zac Reynolds and sophomore Zack Robinson all turned in 73s on Friday to stand in a tie for 36th place.
Sophomore Chris Clarke is competing as an individual in the event and posted a first-round 74, two-over, to finish tied for 55th place.
The tournament runs through Sunday with each team playing 18 holes per day on the 7,070-yard, par-72 course.
