Cowgirls Compete at Husker Invitational

Junior Alison Erzinger took second place in the 600 yard run with a time of 1:25.40. Erzinger finished just behind Missouri's Laura Brandt, who finished with a time of 1:25.22.
Senior Michelle Prowse became a Provisional NCAA Qualifier by finishing fourth in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:31.33.
Junior Valentina Medina returned to action for the first time in nine months and finished the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.17.
“It was good to see Valentina (Medina) back in action,” said Head Coach Rene Sepulveda. “This will help her prepare for the one mile run.”
The Cowgirls will return to action when the entire squad travels to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Tyson Invitational beginning on Feb. 13.
