“It was a break through for her and puts her at a higher level of competition,” head coach Rene Sepulveda said.
Freshman Deleanor Kirkpatrick had a strong showing for the Cowgirls as she finished third in her first colligate meet in the weight throw.
“That was an excellent performance for a freshman that just learned the indoor weight the past two months,” Sepulveda said.
The Cowgirls got good performances in the distance running competitions. Junior Alison Erzinger finished third in the 600-yard run, while senior Joanna Fedick placed third in the 1,000 meters run.
