2003: Bowles competed in the Cowboy Jamboree and finished with a time of 24:52 ... she then competed in the Big 12 Championship ... she also competed for the Cowgirls in the Championships.

2002: Bowles was selected as an Academic All-American ... she ran in the Oklahoma Classic and finished 86th ... she competed in the Cowboy Jamboree with a 88th-place finish and ran in the John JK Kornelson Invitational.

2001: Bowles ran in the Hurricane Cross Country Festival to open the season and finished the two mile course with a time of 13:19.

2000: Bowles redshirted as a freshman.

High School: Bowles qualified for state her senior season ... she finished second in the 800-meter her senior year ... was a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished fourth.

Personal: Born on July 16, 1982 ... is an active member of the First Christian Church ... she also enjoys writing music ... Lisa has one brother, Will ... she is the daughter of John and Mary Bowles.
