2003: Birk competed in the Hurricane Cross Country Festival and finished with a time of 17:46.

2002: Birk saw limited playing time for the Cowgirls.

High School: Birk was an all-district performer in three sports in high school ... she was first team all-district in volleyball and basketball ... in track she was a regional champion in the long jump, triple jump and mile relay ... she was a state finalist in those three events as well ... she was named to the All-State Texas Track Team for her performance in the long jump and triple jump in each of her final two years of high school.

Personal: Born on March 15, 1984 ... Cody enjoys reading poems, taking pictures and going to the beach ... she was also recruited by Texas, Kansas State, Oklahoma Baptist, and Texas A&M-Kingsville ... Cody has three brothers, Matthew, Aaron, and James and a sister Samantha McMillan ... she is the daughter of Stephen and Deborah Birk.
