Pendleton Selected as Big 12 Wrestler of the Month

AMES, Iowa  Oklahoma State wrestler Chris Pendleton was selected as the Big 12 Wrestler of the Month for November as it was selected by Iowa State head coach Bobby Douglas.
The senior out of Lemoore, Calif., went 7-0 in November with four falls. He won a tournament title at the Kaufman-Brand Open with a decision over third-ranked Eric Hauan of Northern Iowa.
Pendleton won his first three matches of the year by fall. All three falls came inthe first period. His quickest fall this season came in just 57 seconds. He also defeated second-ranked Ben Askren of Missouri in the All-Star Classic.
Pendleton will wrestle ninth-ranked Jon Duncombe when the Cowboys face Minnesota on Dec.5 at he Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis, Minn., at 2 p.m.
