Cowgirls Sign Nebraska Prep Star

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's women's track and field team signed Merritt Dietz to a National of Intent, it was announced Tuesday. She will come to Stillwater as the No. 2 shot put and discus prep thrower in Nebraska.
“Merritt is a very fast and explosive athlete that will primarily concentrate on the discuss and shot put,” assistant and throwing coach Teri Steer said. “We are very excited to have her join our team.”
Dietz attends Millard High School, in Omaha, Neb., and will join the Cowgirls in the fall of 2005.
