2003: Throughout Delk's 2003 campaign, he wrestled primarily in open tournaments for the Cowboys ... he saw dual action against Tennessee-Chattanooga, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Michigan State ... During the final two duals of the season, Delk wrestled at 149 pounds where he recorded a major decision against OU's Danny Rubenstein but lost a 9-6 decision to the Spartan's All-American Karl Nadolsky ... Delk posted a 15-10 record, including a tournament victory at the Roger Denker Open and a fourth-place finish at the Kaufman Open ... at the Roger Denker Open, he cruised to the title, recording a pair of major decisions, a fall and a 9-2 decision over Josh Holden of Indiana in the finals.
2002: In his first year as a starter, Delk recorded a 19-13 record ... he started the year by winning the 141-pound weight class at the Cliff Keen Open ... in his 19 victories, Delk recorded four falls and 13 decisions ... he helped the Pokes defeat the Iowa Hawkeyes after defeating Luke Moffitt, 8-3, in Iowa City.
High School: Delk was a two-time Oklahoma State Champion for Collinsville under the direction of Head Coach Mike Henry ... he posted a career record of 133-19, and also played baseball and was All-District in football.
Personal: Ronnie is the son of Robert and Susan Delk ... he has three sisters: Shannon, Laurie and Stephanie, and one brother, Zachary ... in his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, lifting weights and playing football ... during the summer, he married the former Stacey Grace ... he is majoring in physical education ... was born on June 14, 1982.
