2003: Shouse only wrestled in 14 matches, while posting an 8-6 record. He competed in the CMSU Open where he posted a 4-2 fifth-place finish. He also wrestled in the Kaufman and Oklahoma Opens, but did not place.
2002: Compiled a 15-6 record while wrestling in tournaments for OSU ... Among his 15 wins, six came by fall and major decision, with his quickest pin coming in 1:20 ... Shouse placed third at the Roger Denker Open and second at the Cliff Keen Open ... he also competed at the Oklahoma Open and wrestled in a dual at the National Duals. Shouse was also a first-team Academic All-Big 12 honoree ... he is a two-time OSU Academic Achievement Award winner, and has earned Big 12 Honor Roll accolades four times ... he is also a USAA All-American Scholar and was on the Dean's Honor Roll.
