Busy Weekend for Cowgirls

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's cross country team will continue the road to the Big 12 Championships as they prepare for two meets on Saturday in Tulsa and San Diego, Cailf.

The Cowgirl's will travel the “A team” to the west coast for the Triton Classic.

Freshman Mary Davies will lead the Cowgirls at the Classic after a runner-up and first-place finish in her only two races this season.

Junior Michelle Prowse, freshman Barbora Kuncova, freshman Eva Tomankova and freshman Kim Blomkvist will be the Cowgirls who will compete at the competing at the classic.

Last week, the Cowgirls “B team” competed in the Cowboy Jamboree and finished 14th. Cowgirl senior JoAnna Fedick finished as the top Cowgirl runner, and will look to lead the them to a better finish at Subway/ORU OK Classic.

The two meets this Saturday, will complete the regular season for the Cowgirls before they prepare for the Big Championship, in Topeka, Kan.
