Cassie Lewis provided all the offense of the first period and put the Cowgirls on top in the 20th minute on an unassisted goal. Lewis put a foot on a loose ball in front of the net for her third score of the year.
Nikki Wojtowicz extended the OSU lead at the 56:14 mark, connecting on her first penalty kick and fourth overall goal, of the season. Jolene Schweitzer was taken down in the box to set up the play.
The Cowgirls controlled the first 69 minutes of the contest, but the Bears eventually broke through OSU's defense to score two goals in an eight-minute span and tie the game.
Jennifer Martin put Baylor on the board with a shot on an open net and Jessica Hutton added the equalizing goal in the 78th minute.
Neither team scored in the final 12 minutes and Baylor outshot the Cowgirls 4-2 in the overtime periods, holding OSU without a shot in the first 10 minutes.
Breanna Truelove surrendered two goals but still played a solid game in goal, making a career-high 11 saves.
