Cowgirls Add Michelle Prowse to Track & Field Team

The Whangarie, New Zealand native transferred from Auckland University of Technology and will look to make an immediate impact for the Cowgirls in both cross country and track & field events.
Prowse was the New Zealand National Champion in the 800 and 1500 meter competitions. She competed for New Zealand's national team in the 1998 Oceania Championships and the 1999 World Youth Games.
Prowse was selected to compete for New Zealand in the 2000 World Junior Championships and the 2001 World University Games.
In 2002, Prowse recorded a sixth place finish at New Zealands National Cross Country Championships.
Prowse has personal best times of 2:06 in the 800 meter, 2:44 in the 1,000 meter and 4:25 in the 1,500 meter races.
