Oklahoma State bombarded SHSU with six goals on 20 shots in the first half. Adriane Radtke put the Cowgirls on the board four minutes into the contest.
Jolene Schweitzer then added three goals in a 22 minute span, the first two coming two minutes apart and the Cowgirls never looked back.
Radtke added the fifth goal of the contest and Alison Vaughn chipped in with the final tally of the half.
In the 62nd minute of the contest, Carla Dolomont found the back of the net for the first time this season and scored for the second time three minutes later.
Sam Houston State did not take a shot until the 75:28 mark and made good on the chance, finding the back of the net.
Four minutes later Kim Graves added her first goal of the season to cap off the scoring.
OSU outshot SHSU 31-to-1 and its longest scoring drought came between Schweitzer's second and third goals, from the 10:45 mark to 30:41.
Kathrin Lehmann started the contest and went the went the duration in goal for the first time this season.
Oklahoma State (3-0) wraps up a four-game road swing on Sunday at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La.
