Cowboy Baseball Recruiting Class Ranked Seventh

The Cowboys class is comprised of 17 newcomers, including nine junior college transfers, five freshmen and three four-year college transfers.
Senior transfers Rod Allen (Arizona State) and Travis Ingle (Cal-State Fullerton) were a couple of the more notable newcomers along with freshmen Thomas Incaviglia, nephew of former Cowboy legend Pete Incaviglia, and pitcher/infielder Brent Weaver, the Daily Oklahoman's Big All-City Player of the Year.
OSU's ranking was second best in the Big 12, behind Texas which was ranked No. 5. Other conference teams ranked were Oklahoma (No. 9), Baylor (No. 19) and Nebraska (No. 30).
The baseball squad recently completed its second week of fall practice and will be back in action on Wednesday after taking Monday and Tuesday off for Fall Break.
