2002: During the indoor season, won and set the meet record in the mile run at the Kansas State Invitational and won the Wildcat Invitational, as well as the 1,000m run at the Kansas State Invitational " Placed third at the Big 12 Championships in the 3,000m run " Finished 13th at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 5,000m run " Academic All-Big 12 second-team " In outdoor track, placed fourth in the Big 12 in the 10,000m and fifth in the 5,000m " Named to the Academic All-America team in both indoor and outdoor track " Was a first team Academic All-Big 12 selection in cross country " Won the Spiked Shoe Invitational " Took third-place and ran 23:59 in the Cowboy Jamboree " Finished third at the Chili Pepper, running a personal best 10K time of 28:59 " Set another personal best 8K time of 23:56 en route to a third-place finish at the Big 12 Championships.
2001: In cross country, recorded a time of 24:22 at the Cowboy Jamboree " Finished sixth at the District V Championships " Earned All-Big 12 honors " Was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 second-team " Finished eighth at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:24.50 " Named Academic All-American in cross country.
2000: In cross country, placed third in the Princeton Invitational with a time of 24:35 " Took 10th at the Cowboy Jamboree.
High School: Placed third at the World Mountain Running Championships in Sabah, Malaysia in 1999 " Won a record six New Zealand national titles in one season " Was the New Zealand Junior Men's Cross Country, Road Race, and Mountain Running champion in 1999 " Member of the New Zealand Junior Track and Cross Country team from 1996-1999 " Won the New Zealand Junior Men's 1,500m, 3,000m, and 5,000m championship in 1999 " Won the 1,500m, 3,000m, and 5,000m in the Arafura Games in Australia and set the 1,500m meet record " Was champion of the New Zealand Secondary Schools 1,500m and 2K steeplechase in 1998 " Also was the provincial cross country and road race champion in 1996, 1997, and 1998 " Member of the New Zealand Secondary Schools cross country team from 1996-1998.
Personal: Born September 9, 1980 " Son of Steven and Linda Woolhouse " Has three younger brothers, Daniel, Adam, and Mitchell " Competes worldwide in cross country, including a 56th-place finish at the world cross country meet in Dublin, Ireland in 2002, leading New Zealand to a 16th-place finish " Enjoys playing water sports and rugby " Favorite movie is Gladiator " Majoring in dietetics.
