Mercy Morrical

Morrical, a Norman, Okla., native earned four letters and served as the anchor of the Cowgirl midfield.
Her name is sprinkled throughout the Cowgirl record book. Morrical finished her career ninth on the career scoring chart with six goals, tied for second with 13 assists and seventh all-time with 25 points.
In three of her four seasons, she tied for the team lead by playing in and starting in all 19 of the Cowgirls' contests.
In 1999 and 2000, Morrical was a first-team Academic All-Big 12 pick and was a recipient of the Bank of America Community Champion award for her work away from the soccer field.
Morrical served as team captain for three years and received numerous honors during her playing days at Oklahoma State. In 1997, she was the newcomer and defensive player of the year and in 1998 she was tabbed the most inspirational player on the squad. Morrical stepped it up a level during her final two seasons and was the team MVP in 1999 and 2000.
After her career at Oklahoma State, Morrical continued to excel on the semi-professional level. She served as team captain of the Oklahoma Outrage semi-pro team in 2000 and was named to the semi-professional All-WUSL team the same year.
Morrical earned all-state honors as a goalkeeper while competing for Norman High School In the process, she was named all-city in 1995 and 1996 and helped the Tigers capture three state championships, one runner-up finish and four district titles.
At the club level, Morrical played for the Norman Fury and the Edmond Elite, with which she won state titles in 1991, '93 and '97.
In 1994 she participated in both the Region III team and pool and in 1996 she participated in the Region III pool.
Morrical graduated with her bachelors in elementary education in May 2002 and is currently pursuing her masters in exercise science.
